Offering two choices of self-contained accommodation, the traditional Bach and the more modern Tourist Flat both on large and separate sections with sea/mountain and river views, open all year round for overnight stays and extended holidays.
THE BACH
This unique 1950s bach is situated on its own large elevated section, is fully self-contained with open plan kitchen/dining and a log burner for cosy winter nights. There are three bedrooms, a deck with expansive views, easy access to beach and township facilities.
TOURIST FLAT
This fully self contained accommodation in the upper level Tourist Flat offers expansive sea views, is open plan living with two bedrooms carpeted throughout and has a log burner for cosy winter nights. It has its own private entrance, off street parking and is situated on a large section with outdoor furniture. Only two minutes walk to beach and local amenities.

Visitors can explore the natural coastal caves, kayak or take a heritage boat cruise up the river, swim/surf, fish and gather shellfish, or play a round of golf.
Uplifted marine terraces and ancient sea cliffs rise to more than 900 feet above sea level to form the famous White Cliffs.
Horse trekking is another way to see the area. Mokau is also the renowned Whitebait Capital of the North Island.

LOVED it...absolutely quiet and calming. I took some CDs and DVDs up but blissed out on utter silence, with just the birdsong and the sea for company.

We had a lovely stay in your bach. You have done a wonderful job with the restoration - the whole place is beautifully done up and so well kept. Everything was extremely comfortable - the bed (with its amazing view!), all the necessities for a great stay and even some very comfortable chairs!
